Intensive In-Community Services

IIC is intensive counseling services offered in the home and community for youth, young adults, and families. Services are provided statewide New Jersey Children’s System of Care for youth between the ages of 5-21. IIC is an analytical, focused goal oriented, and needs based clinical intervention that addresses emotional and behavioral challenges of youth with moderate to high needs.

When determined to be clinically appropriate, upon completion of IIC services, a continuation of counseling may be provided at a lower level of care.

A BPS is an in-depth assessment authorized by PerformCare or our providers to make an accurate evaluation of your child’s needs and the most appropriate resources or services. This is the first step in initiating services

Andrew A. McGovern has been a licensed therapist in New Jersey since 2010 and has practiced as an Intensive-In Community provider since 2016. Andrew’s dynamic professional background encompasses work across multiple levels of care, a multitude of presenting issues, and expertise in addressing the challenges impacting youth and family.

Advocating for balance, wellness, Andrew’s straight-forward and relatable approach to therapy creates a safe, supportive, and judgement free environment, allowing space for clients to discover their strengths and potential.
